Well...I've never blogged before and all you in my class know I'm not the best writer. Even this post is tough for me, but i will do my best. You are going to experience hmm...stuff. I won't have a common theme, it'll just be me. Now you saw my blog name, I should probably live up to that so I should also write about Lightly Roasted Peanuts. As a quick side note (and I don't know what you think) I feel that I've heard the word "peanuts" used as a term for small snit-bits of information which is what you'll find here. Well first did you know that peanuts are also called groundnuts? Or did you know that peanuts are used for preventing malnutrition? Yea, in developing countries it's high protein, high energy, and high nutritional qualities are used in pastes for famine relief. Roasting changes the proteins in the nut giving it a stronger scent and enhances it's flavor. There are also about 300 uses for peanuts! Thank you George Washington Carver. Once in a while i'll add a post related to peanuts because what kind of guy would I be if I didn't continue on the subject.
I recently was told told that i need to add more words to this post so...ok I found a rant. I can't stand most of the people I see at school. I sit back, listen and hear things that make me think how low society has dropped. They talk down about about people to an excessive amount and it get on my nerves. Granted, not everyone is like that but too many in my opinion are. Just the other day I was walking in the hall and I overheard someone ask if it was "ok" to ask someone if they had taken a proper shower. All I could think was "how ignorant!" You don't ask that! Nor should you have asked the question you were asking about. Now that I think about I will also be posting a lot about this kind of thing, I feel that my point of view on the subject should be heard. Whether you like it, agree with it, disregard it or not.

Interesting information on peanuts, Dan. Random and totally like you to take a typical object and connect it to famine in third world countries. I had some honey roasted peanuts tonight and they were delicious.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you don't include names or identifiers about people being ignorant at school, rant away.
Interested background and font color. Kinda bothers my eyes though. Keep experimenting with the set-up, profile, and media.
Hahaha nuts
ReplyDeleteYou're nuts.
